Meet EYCโ€™s ConductorS

Headshot style photo of Samara Bortz

Hi, Iโ€™m Samara Bortz

Iโ€™m a conductor, singer, and music educator originally from Vancouver and now happy to call Edmonton home.

When Iโ€™m not at a choir rehearsal, you can find me walking in the River Valley, trying a new recipe, or working on a web design project at my favourite coffee shop.

Hi, Iโ€™m Andrew Bortz

Iโ€™m a conductor, singer, and accompanist, currently pursuing a doctorate degree in conducting at U of A.

When Iโ€™m not at a choir rehearsal, Iโ€™m probably playing chess, experimenting with a new cocktail recipe, or hanging out with Samara, our sons, and our dog, Pepper.
